Saint Mary of Visitation Church

The Saint Mary of Visitation Church, also known as the Parish Church of Castro Laboreiro, is a Romanesque temple with two distinct phases of construction, the pre-Romanesque and the second half of the 18th century.

Little remains of the original building and the appearance that is currently visible date from the second half of the 19th century. XVIII. In this second construction, the tower and the chancel were added, as well as the remodeled façade.

Dedicated to Our Lady of Visitation, the sundial, with hours in Roman numerals, which can be found on the roof, and the baptismal font, in Romanesque style, are also worth mentioning. It is a Property of Public Interest.
