Fieiral Rock Engravings

The Fieiral rock carvings, located on the Castro Laboreiro plateau, spread over the surface of two granite outcrops, one of which is large, represent a strong testimony to the remote occupation of the territory in the Late Bronze and Iron Age periods. 

The location also offers a privileged panoramic view over the Laboreiro valley, with the Peneda mountains in the background. It is also possible to see some of the brandas that rise around, with their hayfields ornamenting the surrounding landscape.
