Megalithic Necropolis of Castro Laboreiro Plateau

The Megalithic Necropolis of Castro Laboreiro Plateau is a large megalithic monumental set, consisting of about 62 tumuli, mostly containing megalithic dolmen, which is the largest concentration of megalithic monuments in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest in Europe. 

Of the various prehistoric remains in Castro Laboreiro, this is undoubtedly the most interesting. Its isolated location, covered with undergrowth, far from any urban agglomeration, is the basis for good preservation.

Thanks to its location, at an altitude of over 1100 meters, this interesting nucleus dating from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age allows you to enjoy superb panoramic views of the surrounding area.
