Inverneira de Bago de Baixo

Unlike the brandas, the inverneiras are located in the lower areas of Castro Laboreiro and served as a refuge from the cold, being located in the valleys of the parish.

These small clusters served as residences for people and animals during the coldest months of the year. The inverneira of Bago de Baixo is one of these examples present in the territory.

The great heritage value of this settlement and many of its constructions still remains, justifying the visit.
