The 9th edition of the Sparkling Wine Festival, held in Melgaço, once again delighted attendees by shattering attendance records. With approximately 13,000 visitors, the event experienced a significant increase of around 30 percent compared to the preceding edition in 2022.
The amount of recycled glass and the sale of glasses also increased by 25 percent compared to 2022, indicating a growing environmental awareness among participants.

The Melgaço Sparkling Wine Festival has solidified its position as one of the most highly anticipated events in the region, drawing sparkling wine enthusiasts from various parts of the country, as well as from Galicia and among emigrants.
