The Melgaço Sparkling Wine Festival returns on November 24, 25, and 26, 2023. The 9th edition will once again bring together sparkling wine producers from the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, as well as producers of local products and restaurants. Sparkling wines, good food, showcookings, pairings, commented tastings, and musical entertainment will all be part of the festive days in Portugal’s northernmost municipality.

One of the highlights of this edition is the commitment to sustainability. The event has adopted eco-friendly practices, using 100% recyclable cardboard solutions and water-based inks (HP latex inks) for printing promotional materials. This initiative aims to significantly reduce the event’s environmental impact, in line with growing concerns about environmental conservation.
