In a joint effort to promote sustainability and preserve the environment, an awareness-raising and clean-up campaign was held in Castro Laboreiro, in the middle of the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

This initiative, which is part of Melgaço’s Sustainability Action Plan, saw the active participation of the local executive and council employees.

The main aim of the event was to sensitise the community to the importance of preserving the territory, reinforcing the urgency of measures and awareness-raising to guarantee natural beauty and local sustainability.

This type of activity reinforces the community’s commitment to the environment and invites all citizens to adopt more responsible practices to ensure the preservation of natural resources.
