Melgaço joined forces in favour of solidarity over the weekend of 1 to 3 December by actively participating in the Food Bank Against Hunger’s collection campaign.

During the three days of the campaign, local supermarkets were strategic collection points, emphasising the spirit of solidarity.

The campaign in Melgaço not only contributed to replenishing the Food Bank’s stocks, but also strengthened community ties and reinforced the importance of being attentive to the needs of the less fortunate. Participation in this solidarity event reflects Melgaço’s ongoing commitment to building a fairer and more supportive.
